Fall 2023 Stitch Fix Review: Full Video

Every three months I get a new Stitch Fix box in the mail. It is something I genuinely look forward to.

But I must warn you, every once in a while I get a box that I do not love. This was one of those boxes.

For fall 2023, I put on my request list that I wanted lightweight pants. Even that was a let down. The pants they sent me were pretty thick.

Truth is, I was disappointed from the moment I looked at the preview email of my fix.

These days, your stylist at Stitch Fix will send you an email before your package goes out with about ten different clothing pieces to choose from. You are supposed to pick the five you would like to try.

I chose only four. That meant my stylist had to come up with a surprise item before it shipped. The thing was I wasn’t even excited about the four that I chose. It felt like I was settling. The clothes she picked for me felt drab and boring.

Lesson learned: If you do not like anything in the preview email, choose nothing, and honestly tell them, “I do not like any of this.”

In the end, I kept only the khaki pants and sent the rest back. I seriously needed a pair of khaki pants!
