Stitch Fix 2024 Unboxing: Sometimes Fitted is Better than Baggy

Stitch Fix Unboxing & try on 2024. Sometimes fitted is better.

Welcome back to another fun Stitch Fix 2024 unboxing and try on!

This is my February 2024 Stitch Fix style box. I am currently signed up to get a new box every three months. Out of this box, I kept three items. There is one item I am most excited about and two items I returned.

If you have never tried Stitch Fix, I wholeheartedly recommend it. It is basically just trying on a box of clothes someone else picked out for you.

You pay $20 for a Stitch Fix stylist to select clothes for you. However, if you keep anything from the box, they subtract that $20 you paid from the price of your clothes, even if you only buy one item. So if you buy anything, the service part is free.

If you decide you want to buy the whole box, they take off 25% of your total. Today’s box would cost me $166 if I kept the whole box. Usually the total is closer to $200. I only keep the whole box about half the time.

Instead of talking your ear off, let’s dive right into the unboxing and try on video.

What do you think? What would you keep?

Sorry I did not get to show the colorful dress and sweater for long. When I did the video for the dress, there was no sound because I left my microphone plugged in but forgot to actually wear the microphone. Rookie mistake. I’ll do better next time.

Here are a couple of photos of me in the dress with the sweater.

I like the vibrant colors of the sweater and the dress so much I decided to keep them for Easter.

Please excuse my lack of modeling skills. Perhaps I should chop my head off this photo. Ha! I’ve done that before, and it is helpful sometimes. There’s something about my dead looking eyes in the second dress photo. I feel like I might could pass for a mannequin.

Here’s a close up photo of the two shirts, which I did send back this morning:

Stitch Fix top 2024

I thought the blue shirt looked frumpy on me. The pattern is pretty. I love florals, but I need more structure to the fit.

Also, my pants are too tight, but that’s my fault. The pants did not come in the box, and I had Valentine candy this week.

Stitch Fix black textured top

This shirt is kind of cute. The dots do not continue on the back. I did not feel like it was flattering on me from behind.

Amy (my sister-in-law) said maybe I could keep the black shirt and wear it with the pink sweater. So I tried that on too.

I decided I do like the black and pink combo, but not this particular black top. Look at the black dots showing through the sweater on front. It’s not the best look. Lumpy.

Oh well. Thankfully, I do own a cute black top that will go well with this sweater, and it has no lumps at all. I’m actually wearing it today in honor of Valentine’s Day.

And I saved the best for last. Love this sweater!!

You can see a full view of the sweater awesomeness in the video. It fit differently than all of the other clothes in the box. This one is fitted, not baggy.

Sometimes the right fitted top can make you look more slender than a loose top. That is definitely the case here. I absolutely cannot wear tight spandex stuff, but this I like. Plus, I’m a fan of the green and white color combination.

All in all, this was a pretty good fix.

I kept the dress, green and white sweater, and hot pink sweater.

Stitch Fix provides a large return bag envelope, pre-labeled and paid for shipping. You stick what you don’t want in the Priority Mail bag and place it right in your mailbox.

I sent the two tops back in the envelope. Well, actually, one of the kids checked the mail before it ran and brought that package right back in. They thought they were helping. I will try again to ship it out tomorrow.

I’ve been getting four Stitch Fix boxes a year since 2018, and I think it is so much fun. Some boxes are perfection, and I keep the whole box. Every once in a while, I get a terrible box that does not match me at all. Usually, I like a couple of things and send back the rest.
