My Honest Summer 2023 Stitch Fix Review with Pictures & a Video
My summer Stitch Fix box has arrived! I do love a box in the mail full of new clothes. I am here to give you my honest opinion in this Summer 2023 Stitch Fix Review, with pictures and a video.
***Full disclosure: I will include my Stitch Fix link, and I do earn discounts from Stitch Fix when you order through my link.***
Let’s dive right into the Unboxing of my May 2023 Stitch Fix box:
Believe it or not, everything in this box fit perfectly, except for the t-shirt dress.
When you finish trying on your clothes, you go to your Stitch Fix email and complete your check-out process. It prompts you to choose “keep, return, or exchange for a different size” on each individual item. Plus, you get to tell them what you thought about each piece.
So for the t-shirt dress, I exchanged it for a size up, and it has already arrived in the mail.
The best part of Stitch Fix’s return policy is that they provide you a Priority Mail envelope that is pre-addressed and charged to the Stitch Fix company. That way you can just stick any and all clothes that you are returning in the envelope and straight into your mailbox, without having to go to the post office. I pretty much never go to the post office.
I had Daniel help me take some photos of the clothes when I tried them on this time:
This shirt was not exactly like my purple one after all. I genuinely like it, and it fit perfectly.
These turned out to fit much better than I hoped. I was especially happy with this Fix!
The pants are comfy too. I also tried them on with the royal blue shirt. Do you think it goes together okay, or do you think the colors are too different to make an outfit? Tell me. I am not sure!
I like blue and pink together, but maybe it is too much? (Excuse the mirror. I mean you’d think I’d dust before making a video, but y’all there are just so many things to do…)
This is literally my favorite color, so I was thrilled with this shirt.
I was struggling with these selfies, so I finally got Daniel to help me with the dress photo:
Daniel is always bluntly honest about what he thinks of my clothes, so I asked him what he thought. He said the dress was good, but the “flip-flops” were not so great. He thought I needed a more exciting shoe, and I gotta agree with him.
Now if I can only figure out where I packed away all my summer shoes last fall.
The green t-shirt dress was too tight all over. I exchanged it for a size up, wondering honestly if I should go TWO sizes up. The new one has come in the mail, but I have not tried it on yet.
I do love the color of the t-shirt dress. Green is supposed to be “my color.”
So what did you think?
I have ordered four Stitch Fix boxes a year since 2017, so I have had both exciting and disappointing experiences. One time I hated ALL of the clothes. (That stylist and I just had a disconnect I guess). So I sent all of the clothes back and asked them to try again. The second box was much better.
Usually, there are at least two things in every box that I love. Most of the time I like four out of five and keep the fifth just to save money.
If you buy all five items in your box, you get a 25% off discount on the entire box. That makes a huge difference.
New Benefits to Stitch Fix:
You have a lot more say in what comes in your box than you used to. Your stylist will actually send you an email with about ten choices. Then you pick the five you like the best that will actually come in your box.
The Freestyle (A La Cart) Option:
You can also go online at any time and go shopping through their clothes catalog style and just order stuff. I have done this a couple of times when I had something that was so great I wanted to order it in another color.
The downside to this is that Stitch Fix prices reflect the service they provide, so it is an expensive way to order clothes when you are actually doing all the picking out yourself.
My Overall Rating of Stitch Fix:
Two thumbs up here.
I still love using Stitch Fix to keep my wardrobe always fresh and updated. It is not a subscription service. You can order just one box whenever you want. It is so fun and exciting to have a surprise box of clothes shipped to you in your size.
You can also schedule your box to come a certain number of times per year. I chose four times. That is every three months.

Liked all of it!
Yeah me too. It was a good box!
I didn’t watch the video, but I enjoyed seeing all the clothes! I do think the blue and pink totally work together. Very fun! I like that they have added that you pick 5 items from 10 over email. Knowing that makes me consider trying them again sometime!
Thank you for validating the blue and pink. I really wasn’t sure.
